Mini Hot Cash Haul and ELF Haul!

Hello everyone and welcome back to Nerdy Shique Universe! I know I was going to be doing the next TransMedia Retrospective but decided to bring my Hot Cash and a small ELF haul for you! It’s been a while for a haul since we expanded into music and have been busy looking for a job and of course Braille Reading Contest! And this month will be busy as hell since Omni Expo is this month and I have my annual eye appointment…booo! Anyuway, let’s get started!

Hot Topic Hot Cash for April! Well, I was glad to get money in my account which is down to little due to finding the Pikachu plushie I was looking for for a little while now and did get the alert texts from Hot Topic a week ago with the whole “It’s the last day! Use it!” So, did and man I had a hard time finding things that I wanted. Didn’t go for shirts since I have enough shirts as is right now and found three items and then later on went to the store while dropping an application.

Harley Quin Nylon Train Case! You guys know I love Harley Quin and jester characters, such as Kuromi from Sanrio the most! But of course Harley Quin is my most fave when it comes to DC, and of course she’s the answer to creating a Dead Pool. If you’re wondering what that means….well Gondras read me the new Harley comic and she is pretty much Dead Pool in DC and pretty much goes with the alternate voice but in a stuffed beaver doll named Bernie and she does break the fourth wall a lot! It’s funny and cute, of course Ivy shows up since they are always paired up! Back to the haul, I had a hard time choosing what I wanted and decided to look around the Harley stuff since it’s been a while since I got anything of her after the perfume and robe, I found this and it’s a train case that is pretty much a Caboodle with the Harley logo in the Batman logo style! It has the mirror and man it’s more roomier than my old Caboodle! I was surprised I was able to fit a lot of things! At first I thought it would be small to keep my professional kit but I can keep both that and my cosplay make up kit which these kits are both my Naked Basics pallets, the Almay Bold Nudes pallet in the Green Eyes version, my Maybelline Rose Petal blush, my ELF Essentials Clear Brow and Lash mascara, my Rob Sheppy pallet for my Pokemon costume for Omni this year, my color tattoo in Inked in Pink, which I am definitely going to get my Fairy Tail mark done when I do Lucy for AFO, my Cupcake Butter Gloss and Cupcake Lip Butter! I almost thought about putting the Miss Manga mascara in it buuuuttt I tend to wear it on some days when I feel like grabbing it. Forgot to mention, my blush I am using for my ice trainer as well. And of cour a brush to draw the Fairy Tail mark! I am so glad to find this on there because I almost got the make up bag but I have enough of them due to Ipsy that I don’t need anymore! Thought this was a good choice since the make up bag I used for the professional kit was getting fuller with the Naked Basic pallets. On top of that, the one I had from Caboodles was breaking a little. Way to go Hot Topic!

Polka Dot Brush Set! Lately I have been having a bit of a brush obsession! Didn’t help that I had to replace my eyebrow brush that came in my brush set from WalMart with a Real Techniques one. While going through Hot Topic’s site, I looked around in the make up area and found this and that is a set of five brushes and they have polka dot patterns on them! I did like the price since they were around 50 cents less than what WalMart sold and I did see they got a 5 out of 5 rating on the website. It looks like the set has a face brush, three eye brushes, one for the crease or liner, a precise chisel brush, and a regular eye brush, and of course an eyebrow brush, always good to have a spare just in case! They also feel pretty lightweight and can’t wait to use them!

LA Girl Eye Shadow Brick in Smokey! Well, another eye shadow pallet to add to the arsenal of pallets I own and that is the Eye Shadow Brick in Smokey by LA Girl! I heard of LA Girl before through YouTube and was surprised that Hot Topic sold them along with their Black Heart make up line! I thought it would be great to check them out since I found this on their site. They do have the Nudes pallet if I remembered but the Smokey pallet caught my interest and decided to order it. The pallet is pretty big and it has twelve shadows and pretty versatile. I can’t wait to try these out since I heard good things about it and saw one bad review on it but it didn’t stop me. On the LA Girl site these retail for $9 while Hot Topic sold these for fifty cents more, which doesn’t make sense but at the same time was a good grab, especially with Hot Cash!

In Store: So, while dropping off an application to work, I decided to see if they had the Harley style logo necklace I saw on the website at the store since I feel as though I should’ve bought during the Hot Cash use and went and was told about the choker and got that along with a set of six pairs of Harley themed earrings, which feature some as Aces, the black and red diamonds you see on her jester outfit, and even the ones I am currently wearing and they are jester hats, which are cute! Unfortunately, I had to go back right away because the choker didn’t fit! I thought it would with the adjustable chain but it is more for someone with a tiny neck which I think is impossible, it would be more of a bracelet. I did exchange it by using the money to put it for the necklace to be shipped to the store. I need to mention this, there is one thing I missed that gets carried regularly in Hot Topic in the past and they were the belt chokers! They do get carried in October for Halloween but I do miss them being carried because it’s easier to wear the belt chokers since they are adjustable and it would be better if the Harley Quin chokers were in that style instead of the velvet types or just extend the ribbon to fit the bigger sizes. Heck, here’s a nice design idea, the belt choker with the black and red diamonds and then do the Harley logo. Sounds pretty good huh? I can’t wait to get my paws on the necklace and wear it.

E. L. F. Haul Time! Lately I have been going a little bit E. L. F. crazy. As you know, they are a make up company that gets carried in Target and in some WalMarts and Walgreens, well during Christmas. I had my eye on a few things on the website and have been hearing about and decided to get them. First, the website! After shopping on the Hot Topic website, decided to hop over to the E. L. F. website and decided to grab the Highlight pallet, which is a pallet that contains four highlighters. I am getting more into highlighting and saw that a lot of people loved this and I am glad to see what this will hold when I start using it. Another item is another Essntials Clear Brow and Lash Mascara because I feel mine will be running out soon and not sure if it’s carried in the stores and loved this product! And then did want the blush pallet but didn’t want to go crazy despite how cheap this brand is, so I decided to see if any of the Targets had it and they did. I was glad to drop by after an interview and get it for the Light Skin I believe and it has four blushes, one pink, one peach, a tan, and I think a coral. It felt soft when I wore it when Gondras and I saw Avengers 2 and it felt light! I do have an ELF studio blush and loved how that felt and this pallet still has that feeling! I will have to try it with the highlighter to see how that goes.

Well, that is it for this haul! Next up will be the Transmedia Retrospective I promised! Stay tuned!

Favorites Time: January and February 2015!

Hello Shiquers and welcome back to Nerdy Shique Universe! February is about to draw to a close and you know what that means! Time for my faves of January and February 2015! Man, I have a lot of things to cover including a non-fave, which I should start with that!

Non-Fave: Pur Lis Glitter Flash Tattoos! OMG! These sucked and they were the Pur Lis Flash Glitter Tattoos from the January BoxyCharm because they caused my skin to react weird when I decided to try it out on my right wrist and then did it on my left upper arm. I did follow most of the directions by doing the water after putting it down and it transferred well but I didn’t know I had to let it set dry afterwards  through the air. I can’t read directions and they didn’t post the items for review until two weeks after I tried them. Plus all thanks to my old rash from Lush a few years ago it had an allergic reaction to my skin. I can see why I don’t use any body glitter since it has a weird reaction on my lower arms. My upper arm nothing happened except that it peeled! Even the one on my wrist peeled but not as badly as the upper arm one. I threw these away because of how bad my skin reacted and not only that they didn’t remove well, I did the old alcohol removal trick and it doesn’t work well, it made my skin worse. I definitely won’t buy these at all and it’s not worth the price, especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. I am hoping BoxyCharm doesn’t send these again if they get any other designs, if I get them again, I may give them away or swap them to someone.

Bath and Body Works: Body Butter in Madagascar Vanilla! First beauty item is a body item and that is the Bath and Body Works body butters in Madagascar Vanilla! I was looking for body butters since I was running low on the Ayres Patagonia one I received through Ipsy and I didn’t want to buy the full size since it might be pricey and decided to look around in Bath and Body Works in the Volusia Mall and they were having a sale on some of their items for 75% off and this was in that display and I loved the scent! I almost got the Shea one since that smelled sweet but decided to stick with the sale display with this one and got two of them! What I like about this scent is that it’s not overbearing like most vanilla scents are by some companies and with vanilla anything by Bath and Body they deliver very good vanilla smells! I still love the Vanilla Bean Noel from Christmas and did like the Warm Vanilla Sugar as well. I am kind of sad that they don’t have the tubs of the body butters now, which sucks and it’s easy for me to get it out, but I may check out the Body Shop’s brand of body butters since I heard good things about those and I know Pacifica makes some. Will have to check them out!

  1. L. F.: Clear Brow Gel and Mascara! Now a newer product to my collection and to use to get ready for the job search routine and that is the E. L. F. mascara and clear brow gel! I was turned onto this all thanks to a former make up artist who has a lot of knowledge in putting it on as a blind person and she gave me pointers and helped out in finding things and this was one of them. We were originally looking for the Maybelline clear mascara but the WalMart we were at sold out or didn’t exactly have it, forgot the reason, but we did find this in the E. L. F. section while looking for the right blush for my Professional Look Kit! What I like about this is that it’s double ended which there is one side for brows and the other side for lashes and I marked the lashes side to help me know which end was what. With this thing, it does help with just using the clear gel for the brows than wrestling with the question of “Which shade is the best for my brows?” Which I notice a lot of YouTubers wrestle which shade is best for them. I would say get this for that and the lashes part does save you from having black smudges all over and you don’t have black dots on your shadow when you’re done. Trust me, I tend to get that time to time if I miss my lashes!

Almay: Bold Nudes for Green Eyes! Next is a newer Almay Product for my Professional Look Kit and it is by my fave make up company and that is Almay! IIt’s the Bold Nudes eye shadow pallet for the green eyes. I haven’t gotten any of the eye shadow pallets in a long time since I got the smoke trio for hazel eyes a while back and still have that and just tossed the green eyes one since that was running out in the crease and brow part and glad to get back into it with this one. A great way of going with a nice eye look is through the neutrals and this little pallet is perfect for that due to how easy it is to have the right shades for your eyes. I like how it goes from a taupe, to a blue grey, to a lighter grey for the brow and it does lighten the gem green in mye eyes since it does mix with a cobalt in them. I will go for hazel for the weekends or the days I will be with Gondras, this one is staying with my little kit!

LA Color: Warm Berry Blush!  On a recreation trip, I stopped by a Family Dollar and wanted to see if they have make up items while looking for my fave baby wipes for make up cleaning. I found the brand LA color and I heard about these guys through a videos and did get a mascara by them, it is pretty good but not on the faves list, and found this blush and it’s in the color Warm Berry. It gives off a nice berry glow like my Berry Glow cream blush by Ulta and it is pretty pigmented, which I need to really blend this into my skin or it will make it look like I have tons of it on. I am hoping I can find this in my Family Dollars near me.

Mac: Cream Cup, Cream in Your Coffee, and Danty!  Finally added to the list, some Mac products! I did mention in my New Haul of 2015 Haul that I was slowly getting into Mac products! I do have the Pet Me Please lipstick from the Alluring Aquatics collection from last summer and now I have a total of four items but three made it to this list. I did mention I got Gleeful but haven’t used that much to count as a favorite but I did use the other three a bit more. Dainty is a pink blush that I heard about through Coffee Break With Dani and I like it! It goes on pretty well and it does blend very well. I know the price is a bit up there but it is in the same price as a Tart blush and it’s pretty worth it! I know this will be re-purchased and so with the two lipsticks on here, Cream Cup and Cream In Your Coffee! All thanks to Make Up By Tiffany D and Color Swept Beauty, I had to pick these up and they were separate buys since tend to buy Mac items one at a time and was glad to get my paws on these. I do love both colors, which Cream Cup is a pinkish nude while Coffee is more of a brownish one. I find it funny that Coffee was the more popular one and I had to wait until they had to restock on it and when I went to see if they got itt in, it was the last one that Friday! I was like, “Give it! Give it!” I was glad that I did get it and I do love these both! It was funny that the next day when I went back for Gleeful, the girl was like “I knew you would be back for Gleeful!” Who knows, it will be on the next list. I did almost leaned towards Diva as well, but that is on the maybe list for now! But these three are my fave! Especially with how great the two lipsticks being so creamy and they go on very smoothly, even more when there’s a lip balm!

Rimmel: Glam Rock Mascara and Captivating Lip Gloss! Next are products by Rimmel and they are the Rock Glam Mascara from the Scandaleyes line and the lip gloss in Captivating. When I first got the Glam Rock mascara, I wanted to take a try at the mascaras by Rimmel since so many people love them and I already love their lip products and I did have an eye trio by them a long time ago and now using their nail top coat on top of that. I was originally looking for the newest one, the Rockin Curves one, but couldn’t find it and got this one and man it feels awesome! My lashes do give a bit of a spike look from what I felt but they do curl very nicely with this mascara! It feels as light as the Rockin Curves one and curls pretty nicely with that too, but I would say the Glam Rock one got my vote as fave this month. The Captivating lip gloss is also another item in my Professional Look Kit and I love it! It’s a maroo colored lip gloss and it just feels pretty light, not too heavy or cakey, just nice! I may have to get more of this one and all thanks to this lip gloss it has been getting me more into red lips as I get more lip stuff. I am still looking for the Provacalips since Young Wild and Polished did a review on them and want to find them myself.

Jessica Simpson Perfume: Signature! Stop the presses! I finally got my paws on the Jessica Simpson Signature perfume! It made me happy since I did want this one for Christmas and didn’t get it and couldn’t find it until I got it as a Valentine’s Day gift from my dad. It is so gorgeous as a scent! It is not too heavy on the floral like most scents and it has a bit of an earthy sweet if that makes any sense! When I wore this one day my mom thought I was wearing potpourri as a scent but I told her it was the Signature perfume and she liked it! It can be confusing but it so amazing! Loving it!

Harley Quin Perfume! I had to mention this one on here because it became an all time fave scent and was wondering, “Hot Topic why didn’t you make this before!?” It is their Harley Quin perfume that they started making this year! Apparently, Hot Topic has been going a bit Harley crazy and they even have their own clothing line revolving around her called Harlene. I didn’t get any of it knowing that my Amazonian build won’t fit the corsets, the cardigan, nor tops, I would like to point out two years ago on my 27th birthday when a Harley top stopped at my shoulders over my head. I wasn’t out of hope when I found out that the Volusia location did carry the perfume when Gondras mentioned it while he visited. I knew I had to find it and glad it wasn’t exclusive to the the site! This scent is OMG amazing! It sprays on musky and then it gradually gets sweeter and I can’t stop smelling it! Gondras made a joke that they probably put Smilex in it and well I wouldn’t care if they did because this perfume is addicting and makes me a happy kitty! I have to keep myself from reaching for it when I brought it home because I love it so! I would say to check this out whenever you get the chance!

Fave Snack: Reese’s Hearts! I have to mention these because I have to keep myself from binging on them like crazy! They are the Reese’s Valentine’s Hearts that they always bring every year and they still taste as good and I feel like since they made them bigger, they taste a lot better! I have to keep myself from binging on these but when Valentine’s, Easter, and Christmas come around, chocolate is my major kryptonite, especially Reese’s and Hersheys! Oh yeah, and Ghiradelli!

Fave Hair Product: Eva NYC Hungry Hair Oil! I almost forgot one item and that is my fave hair product and that is the Eva NYC Hungry Hair Oil that came in the December BoxyCharm! When I started using this item I was happy to use it since it kept my hair soft, especially after coming home from Daytona and opening it with fresh highlights in my hair. The oil smells like vanilla and it is very moisturizing and it did last me pretty long for its size. I did get the actual bottle, even though it was the same size as the sample since that seems to be the full size, which doesn’t make sense, but been loving it! Looks like I found my fave hair item from a subscription box!

Fave Song: “Killing Loneliness” by HIM and “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift! I know ::dun dun dunnnn!” I usually go for the rock stuff but ever since I sang “Blank Space” with two of my other girlfriends in Daytona, I like it! It is on my IPad, which I recently got and love, and my IPhone, that it does get stuck in my head. Hell, I even sang along with it a tiny bit in Ulta while they played it last Tuesday! I was resisting but couldn’t help it! And the other song, I only used to like one song by HIM, which I forgot the title, but when I heard Vivi sing this on Rock Band this past weekend, my ears perked up and had to ask what it was and Gondras told me. Then got clicking on Itunes! I love orchestraic sounding rock songs and this song is really beautiful with the violin, piano, and guitar, couldn’t help it! I even liked how the singer sings it, you know he was writing it from his lonely soul! Tragic I know!

Well, that is it for this faves post! What is next? Still will do the plushie thing of course and coming soon will the start of my spotlights on Anime Festival Orlando and will be bringing back the Anime in Transmedia posts since it would be right with two of the guests at AFO to bring this back for the next couple of months and doing them on three of the biggest series, Slayers, Yu-gi-oh, and Pokemon. Stay tuned!

New Haul of 2015!

Hello Shiquers and welcome back to Nerdy Shique Universe! I am back for a bit since I’ve been busy in Daytona and now on break until I go back for more stuff. I know I was going to do something on a plushie maker but having a itty bit thing to be fixed before I do it, so in the mean time I am bringing a haul for you all!

Not only I have beauty stuff, I also have some stuff from Hot Topic to mention!

Hot Topic: So, Hot Cash ended last month, well the last week of January and well I didn’t use all my coupons this year. I ended up with four, which was pretty funny! December was when they gave them out and the first one was when I got my newer Rise Against shirt and Harley Quin robe, I know what you’re thinking, Hot Topic carries robes now? Sort of since of course it’s winter and this thing was a perfect release for the cold and man it’s been cold in Florida, especially this week with Valentine’s Day! Back to it, the With the total from that purchase got me two Hot Cash coupons and then the other two was the Monday after that when we all went as a group and got the Kiki’s Delivery Service throw blanket because the blankets in the dorm I was staying at were thin and not warm enough and this thing was the definition of warm! It was also the last one that day and snatched it before anyone gets it! It’s of the cat Geegee from the movie and a friend of mine found a little beanie with cats and snowflakes on it and it says “Meow!” It was so cute! Cute as my Hash Tag Meow one from WalMart. Then I mentioned to the guy that he forgot about my HT One points and made it up to me to give me a second Hot Cash coupon with the first and then had four! I gave one to Gondras since he needed more shirts to wear besides the ones I got him for Christmas and in the past because he loves them so much and he ended up getting three Doctor Who ones and one of Firefly, which was the first show Nathan Filian did before Castle! What I did get with the two I used were the coffee mugs of Attack On Titan and Deadpool!I haven’t gotten anything more in Deadpool for ages since I get Gondras shirts of Deadpool and of course we have the game and when I heard the Sanford location had this mug along with the AOT one, called Sanford because Daytona’s location sold out of them, I wanted it! If only the boxes that they came in didn’t have that easy to slide out thing because I wouldn’t mind having the cast of Attack On Titan sign it at Omni! With the second one, I did get the newer Avengers shirt for Age of Ultron, which the guy working that day let me buy it before anyone else did along with a Guardians of the Galaxy shirt of the members animated! Loving it! Besides Hot Cash, during the time you spend it you got coupons for “Get $10 off of a $40” purchase and that started the end of January and went through last Sunday and I used one of them, which I don’t know what happened to the other, oh well! Anyuway, I had a hard time deciding until I was glad to get what I got! The thing was when Gondras visited me last, he told me that there were jackets based on the AOT ranger jackets  minus the patches and I decided to see if they fit me in the XL but it didn’t! It was tight around the shoulders and I have linebacker shoulders! Made me sad! Anyone know anyone who can make me one in my measurements? Just saying! I was happy to find out that they had the messenger bag and you know me with these things, got it! I had to find something else to get to meet that amount on the coupon and almost got another item of AOT until I remembered Gondras mentioned that Hot Topic started making stuff based on Harley Quin and perfumes based on her and the Joker, which I picked up a bottle! I am obsessed with it! It is strong at first but when it goes through the day it gets sweeter and sweeter, it makes me smell it like crazy! I think I found my cat nip! What made me puzzled is that they were starting Hot Cash giveaway again! The girl told me they won’t start til April and now will get a call about it since they do courtesy calls now. Start racking up the Hot Cash if you can!

Other Things: Some other things I did get while in Daytona before I got back to Orlando include two things from Mac! I have started getting into it a bit more but getting it a little at a time since it is expensive. I started with the Cream Cup lipstick back in December all thanks to so many YouTubers talking about it and decided to try it out! I did pick up another YouTuber pick and was lucky to get it since it was the last one and it’s the lipstick in Cream In Your Coffee! It’s more of a brown nude versus Cream Cup being a pink one and these babies are very creamy! I think this has been a very popular one at the counter due to it being the last one when they just got a new shipment of it in when I went and glad I snatched it in time! I am also using it and loving it! Then the other thing is the blush in Gleeful! I started with Danty as my first blush by Mac after hearing Coffee Break with Dani talked about it on her channel and wanted to see how they were like and after getting it, I love it! When I was told that rose colored blushes are also perfect for my skin tone I decided to check and see if they sold a rosy tone and they did and that was Gleeful! I haven’t used it yet but will be! Other items I did pick up include some stuff for my professional wardrobe such as a pair of pearl earrings and a necklace from Claire’s because of their $5 sale on jewelry and did get a top from JCPenny as a nice start to it! Yes, Mari Blue Cat is growing up!

Ulta: Now onto the fun part! Yesterday I went to Ulta after a job fair because I not only get the favorite “$3.50 off of a purchase of $10 or more” but got a coupon for a deluxe size of the new Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash mascara and was like, “Yes please!” Not only I got my paws on that I did get the full size of the Marc Anthony Argon Shine hair spray (I know the name is different but too long!) from Ipsy. It was funny the girl thought I wanted the small size, which I shown her what kind it was, and told me that they didn’t have the small only the big one and I told her that’s what I wanted. This is one reason subscription boxes, especially Ipsy, come in handy when it comes to trying products and then buying them in stores if they get carried there. I will see if the Waterford location, which I where I went to due to the Florida Mall location closed down, carry Jay Cat stuff next since I do like the Wonder lip paints and did redeem my points for one and may have to try other products.

Besides the hairspray, I did get a few other items and they were drugstore items and one of them is something I kind of was not on the bandwagon until now and that is the Maybelline Rocket Mascara! I have tried mascaras from Rimmel, Jordana, L’Oreal of course with the Miss Manga, ELF, LA Color, but not Maybelline. When I kept on hearing so many YouTubers rave about it, I had to try it out for myself and got it in the black color, Blackest Black I believe. The packaging is interesting when you get it, which the brush is not in the tube. I was afraid that the mascara was dried out if there was nothing to seal it until I opened it when I got home and saw the cap that was used to keep it fresh and not dry, I was relieved and put its brush in and it looked like a rocket! I can kind of see why they did that due to how long it would be in the original packaging and Maybelline wanted to keep it simple, very clever guys! The next product was something I wanted to find in Maybelline but couldn’t find it until I went to L’Oreal and it’s a gel liner in black! Normally I use black liquid liner and lately I have been using the black liner that ELF placed in their Disney Villain books but slight problem with that is they run! When I put it on Monday, Gondras saw a streak run down to my cheek and he thought it was because I was laughing too hard to the latest thing he shown me and he had to help me out to get it off. Another problem is that it transfers if you aren’t careful when putting it on, so to not face this again I decided to toss this with the other two and just stick with liquid liner from someone else or gel liner and decided gel liner! I went with the Carbon Black one by L’OReal because Maybelline ran out and it was popular at Ulta, so dropped by L’Oreal because I love their blue one and may have to get the purple one since it is so easy to use with my liner brush! The last item is the new NYX color mascara in blue! I heard about these from a YouTuber while watching a new Ulta haul and decided to check it out! I never tried NYX’s mascara but I do love their many tons of products like the eye shadows, liners, lip stuff, but never tried the mascara and this is an interesting twist! So glad they decide to release these for a year round thing since colored mascaras are a Halloween thing and I believe they were around in the ‘90s. Welcome back to the scene!

WalMart: Last stop is WalMart because I had to get more printer paper! I print a lot of stuff and my resume took a good portion of the rest of my paper along with the coupons from Ulta. I did pick up three make up items and wasn’t expecting to, one was one I needed and that was the Rimmel Shine Top Coat! When I painted my nails Saturday, I didn’t know my Sinful Top Shine dried out on the brush and became goopy and was hard to brush on! I tossed that out along with the old Quick Dry after buying my new bottle and kind of kicked myself for not getting the Top Shine while at Walgreens that day. I was hoping to go back but then I heard Rimmel made a good one and it dries in 60 seconds and decided to see if I can find it and I did! Great thing about it, I reapplied the Ruby Ruby nail polish since it was chipping already by last night, I used the top coat and you can hardly feel the glitter! It pretty much seals it in and does dry pretty fast! This has become my newest, fave top coats! I will still get the base and the quick dry from Sinful because those still are my faves!

Another product I got from Rimmel is something I wasn’t expecting to get because I was trying to find the new Provocalips lip glosses that Eleventh Gorgeous talked about but I did get the newer mascara they made and that is the Rockin Curves from the Scandaleyes collection! I own the Glam Rock one and loved how great my lashes felt with it on and funny thing was I wanted to find this one until my dad read the “Broken Heart Brush” part on the packaging and went, “Wait a minute, you said Broken Heart Brush? Is “New” on the package?” He double checked and told me it did and grabbed it! I was glad to find it after hearing about it on YouTube! This will be interesting to try out with how well the Glam Rock mascara worked well. I think I got this one in Extreme Black since it only comes in this shade and just Black. I don’t know why I’m in a mascara craze! And the last item is another thing I didn’t get on the bandwagon until now and it’s the CoverGirl Lip Lava in Live Love Lava! I heard about these from Color Swept Beauty and then Eleventh Gorgeous talked about them and had to try them! I did almost get one for my professional make up bag for when I go to have an interview or working or other things like job fairs but the reds didn’t suit it according to someone who used to be a make up artist before she got her eye condition, I did get Rimmel’s Captivating for that. Anyways, I did still have an interest in these and like how they were described and apparently they were almost sold out due to popularity! I was happy to get this one to try it out and didn’t want to stick to just the pinks or purples this time around. The nude one and gold one did sound interesting but the kitty ears gravitated towards Lip Love Lava and it’s a nice red to start with! CoverGirl should make more of these and more for the Colorlicious collection later on!

Ipsy Me: Last item of this haul just arrived yesterday and that is an Ipsy Me offer I picked up last week and it’s from Pacifica and it’s their Solar Color Mineral Pallet! Another great thing about Ipsy is you get e-mails every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday now, it was every Tuesday and then switched to every Tuesday and Thursday and now it’s three days and that different make up companies that were featured in Ipsy over time give deals through Ipsy to have Ipsters get them at a lower price. If you remembered a few posts back, I got the Ofra Cosmetics shadow book through the Ipsy Me offer and man it was worth it since that thing is usually $80 on Ofra’s site and got that for $60 less and forgot to mention, like the Ipsy bags you do get free shipping with the order. I would suggest joining if you want to get make up discounted! This thing by Pacifica was $20 as well and it is a nice product for that price since it normally runs $35 on their website and you can’t beat that! This pallet features one of the products that was given to all Ipsters last month and that was the Coconut Mineral eye shadows, which I did use mine once and liked how it felt and did still like their Gunmetal liner pencil I got from them in my Ipsy bag and glad to get this to expand on my curiosity with Pacifica!

This pallet includes six of the Coconut Mineral eye shadows, which you can only get in pallets according to the Pacifica page that was on Ipsy last month for these things, and it does come with the shade I got in my bag, Treasure, along with Neptune, Sandalwood, Coral, Mermaid Aqua, and Glow. It also comes with a blush, a bronzer, and three highlighters. I  am slowly getting into highlighters, especially with using the Mana Kadar highlighter I got in last month’s bag and did like the one that came in my Beauty Treasures set from Ulta, I’m slowly getting into it. I may not use the bronzer, might use it as a blush instead to have a brownish  peach tone like my Pin Up blush by Hard Candy (it does look a bit deep peach almost by what my eyes can see) and the shadows are natural and pigmented! If you’re into going for more natural looks and don’t want to splurge on a Naked pallet and/or want something more natural less chemical-like, I would say get this, especially where you can smell the coconut oil in these because these are the coconut infused products they carry! It is also a nice start to your collection and great for that person you know who are looking for the more natural stuff and this really got me, especially with the blush and eye shadow! This is also pretty nice to travel with if need be since it’s in a nice book pallet. I did notice a nail polish deal yesterday but with all the nail polishes I own and glad to come home to, I don’t need any more for now! I still want to finish some of the products I do own and so far so good finishing what I was able to. Anyways, if you want to join Ipsy and want to see all the offers you can get, head over to Ipsy.com! I did leave my referral link in my December Ipsy and BoxyCharm Time to help this little kitten out in replenishing her points!

Well, that’s it! I am going to try and do the plushie maker post soon and of course waiting on Ipsy and BoxyCharm to arrive, according to the Ipsy Twitter, they just started shipping! And an update on Omni Expo, just filled out the forms for press and me, Gondras, and Nerdy Shirts are waiting on updates about that! So, that’s it!
