Subscription Satelite: Final No Make No Life Box!

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast nerd universe. I finally got it!

No Make No Life February 2021 And Now It is Cancelled!

I bet you are wondering, “Mari, what happened?” I cancelled my No Make No Life after how crappy shipping has been. When I first subscribed to this box it was amazing and got to me fast due to how DHL got it to me three days after it got shipped. Even got updates in text messages that it arrived and it was always on my door or in the package locker leading up to the move. By November, I noticed something different and that was how shipping was slow despite it being with DHL Express. I was wondering what was going on, even December’s box arrived after Christmas and then this box got me angry. Normally, I get this box quick and I felt that it took an entire month or more to get to me and that they charge me $45 every month with a good shipping service. Why break something that was working? I did email No Make No Life and they told me due to customs and not charging extra for even more shipping that they added tracking. Pardon my French but BULLSHIT! I am sorry but here is the thing, DHL Express already has their own tracking and Ipsy uses it a lot with their Glam Bags. What tracking does NMNL use? 17 Tracking which I feel it takes longer to get to me and yet we are still in the pandemic, which I understand shipping can take longer but my boxes get to me quickly. Even BoxyCharm gets to me fast with FedEx Tracking. Still mad and I felt that even though the products are great and cute but I cannot invest in a box that gets to me in a month after being shipped when they can just use the tracking service with DHL along with shipping with them. I’m not giving them any more of my hard-earned money so I decided to cancel before the next charge date and glad I did. Will I resubscribe? I am not sure, I MIGHT but if I want to go for another makeup subscription I would do it with another one but I will stick with BoxyCharm if it still goes well and both GB Plus and my Glam Bag alongside GB X with Ipsy. So, what did I get in my final box? Let us take a look!

Hello Kitty MakeUp Bag: First up is a makeup bag and it is a Hello Kitty one. I love Hello Kitty as you all know, I even finished my Sanrio Ita-Bag recently, this bag is cute but it feels cheaply made. I felt it was made mainly from plastic without a cloth lining. But it is made of vinyl for easy cleaning and with a sturdy zipper it claims in the magazine. I must see how well this goes since I do switch to my Glam Bag of the month.

CW7 Face Pack: Next is a peel off face pack from CW7. I may not use this because peel off masks is hard for me to use since I can get some of my hair and my brows. I decided not to do anything peel off. Sorry!

Patch Holi Kostopia Love Heart Eye Mask: Now something I would not mind using and that is a heart eye mask. These are little masks that help with puffy eyes and the delicate skin around them. These are made with sportswear fabric to help with lifting the eye bags. I cannot wait to use these!

Mediheal Piggymom Soak Soak Nose Pack: Next up is a product from Mediheal and it’s a three-step nose pack. It helps with black heads. I am not really that oily but sometimes I feel weird around my nose so I sometimes get a pore strip to help it.

Pokémon X Lovisia Marble Lip Balm: When I found out that Pokémon items were going to be in this month’s box, I was excited since I love Pokémon. This first item is a lip balm which makes me even happier since I love lip balm. I may have to put this in my Pokémon Ita-Bag. This is a marble lip balm that has different patterns but goes on clear. You could either have gotten Pikachu that has purple and yellow designs, Eevee which has purple and blue, Snorlax which is red and yellow, or Jigglypuff which is pink and yellow. Glad to get this which I will be placing this with my Pokémon themed one. I may have to look for these online since I do have a Pokémon pin bag that I got from Pokémon Center that will be my convention bag due to how big it is.

Pokémon X Lovisia Stick Blush: This is a stick blush that features a 3-D Pokémon character and you could get different ones that can add to your vanity. Each one has a different blush color and they are Pikachu which is milky pink, Eevee which is rose pink, Slowpoke which is coral pink and Mew as a pearl white highlighter. These have a long-lasting effect that will give you that fresh kissed glow. I will have to see which one I got but hoping Eevee since rose blushes look best on me.

Pokémon X Lovisia Hard Pressed Powder Compact: Final item is another Pokémon item which is a powder. I saw this on the website and hoped to get this since I do enjoy Pokémon and glad to get this in my box anyways. This is a pressed powder that is a pressed one that helps set makeup and gives a moisturized look. This has a small powder puff and has a heart design, sorry I meant heart! I think I will keep the compact afterwards since I do love Pokémon and glad to get this! This also comes in different colors for different skin issues which they are Pikachu, which is pink to help with blemishes, Eevee is green for redness and Snorlax for eye bags.

Pokémon X Lovisia Heart Point Pack: Okay, this is the final item! These are heart shaped heart patches that are made with collagen and hyaluronic acid and shea butter. These can be used on the face and bodyto help with moisture. I will have to try these since I do have dry areas on my knees and elbows.

Well, that is it for my last box with these guys. I know it is sad for me to say that this is my final box after being with them for a few months. I might come back to this subscription; I may return after the pandemic dies down since shipping has been crazy with most places but seeing it with this and how they switched shipping companies did make me mad. Now waiting on my Glam Bag so that is my last subscription and then I have an anime review and an empties post! Until next time!

Review Round Up: November & December 2020

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast nerd universe! I am back with another post and on the first day of the new year!

Review Round Up: November & December 2020

I would like to say first is that I am really sorry for not doing a Review Round Up for September and October. Things were really busy with school and of course the move was going on so didn’t really have much time to do one so I am making up for lost time.

November: The order did get switched alongside with December since my No Make No Life didn’t arrive until close to Thanksgiving. I did manage to get all of my boxes in even my Ipsy ended up at my old address due to it not being updated yet. I didn’t use any of the eye products due to recovering from my sty and blepharitis and didn’t want my eyes to get any more irritated and did not help with the dust flying either while packing and unpacking. I hadn’t used any of my November BoxyCharm items due to packing them in one of the many boxes but when I do find it, I will definitely start using them. I did use the sheet masks, the lip color, and lip mask from my Glam Bag Plus though. The Honey Jaret masks did feel good. I felt that the one I used to give me pretty good moisture for my skin and felt pretty light too while wearing it. The lip mask was pretty moisturizing as well and the lip color from Complex Culture was not too bad. It was interesting packaging though since most lip products I get are in square shaped tuibes while this is more of a flattened rectangle. Also, I didn’t k now that the post did not publish. I’m really sorry about that as well. I’ve been using the Commodity perfume time to time and man it smells so good! I did finish the Banana Souffle moisturizer by Glow Recipe and it did feel really good on my skin. It was not too heavy on the skin and the sample size was really good as well. I don’t think I will pay the price though since Glow Recipe is pretty pricey. I may have to wait and see if it will be on the Ipsy Offers or on the BoxyCharm shop. With No Make No Life, I did try out the mask with the Eucalyptus Cream and it felt pretty good. I did use the multi-tasking stick which was pretty greasy after trying it out. The Miloko mascara felt good on my lashes though and made them curl up like the claims said. I will keep on using this mascara. The Dolly Wink eye pencil did feel good on my eyes. I hardly felt it bothering my eyes since I was till recovering from my eye infections. I don’t know how I feel about the brow pencil from Etude though. I wished I got a chocolate brown instead since that’s my shade in the NYX Brow Pomade that I have enjoyed for a few years. I will have to keep on using it.

December: The only thing about December’s boxes was that I felt that I got Ipsy leftovers in my BoxyCharm. How so? Well, I got the Mac Matte lipstick in Russian Red which I did buy from Ipsy a while back. I also got the Tarte Man Eater Mascara which was really good since it did bring a curl to my lashes and the Ofra Banana Powder, I believe that was a sample size some people have gotten in the past but not hating it since I have been using it to set my under-eye concealer. The only things that didn’t feel like leftovers were the Artist Coutur pallet which people did love the look with and the Eloise Liquid Shadow which I used as an eye base. It worked well as an eye base and didn’t budge at all. I am not sure if I will keep BoxyCharm since this box seemed a bit meh, I will give it a few more months. My Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus were really good though. The Feel Cleanser was really nice! It didn’t feel too harsh on my skin on nights that I was using a sheet mask and it did help with the mask absorption. I hope to get more stuff from this brand. I am not sure what had happened to the powder I got though, it may have fallen out of my Caboodle, I will search for it and find it as usual. The brush did get mixed into my brush pouch since I am using the makeup bag, I got from the Kuromie and My Melody collection. I haven’t touched the Laura MakeUp lip gloss either but I have been using the Use Me Hair Curling Cream. I have to say is that it has helped my hair and I am going to purchase a full size of this since it is so good! The only thing I used from my GB Plus happened to be the Ofra lip gloss. I find it just okay; I think the lip gloss was not sticky but just okay. I may use it over other lip products down the line. As said before, I am using another exfoliating scrub, which the Feel one was just a trial size to try it out and then go back to my Hempz one. I haven’t used the QMS cream yet nor the Complex Culture powder either. The Alter Ego shadow from Il Maki age, I am going to use it at some point too. When it comes to the No Make No Life box, so far, I used the hair mask, which was weird. I feel like it did not do much for my hair. It would make sense if it was in a pot since to me with a hair mask you need to use it more than once for effects to take place rather than a one item type thing. I did like the MediHeal sheet mask and it did moisturize my face very well. It did fit my face pretty well too. I also have been using the hand cream since my hands do get dry due to the use of hand sanitizer and soap every day. I like the scent since it’s not too heavy and the cream is very creamy and smooth. And I also have been using the UR Glam lip oil too since I do love using glosses that are an oil and gloss hybrid. I haven’t used the hair clips much because they’re a bit too big for my liking but do they do hold my hair pretty well. The eye shadow pallet will be used at some point. Verdict: Ipsy! Reason being is that for these two months, I have  been enjoying what I’ve gotten in my Glam Bag. Even though the BoxyCharm for November had a good balance, I packed it before moving and didn’t get to use anything. I feel that Ipsy is beating BoxyCharm out of the water and No Make No Life is a close second due to how I was able to use some of the things except the hair mask was kind of weird. Hoping BoxyCharm steps it up for January!

Well guys that is it for this Review Round Up! So, now it’s a new year and hoping that these boxes keeping going well. Like I said I am thinking of cancelling BoxyCharm because they aren’t going so well for me, I am willing to give them a few more months before letting them go since I have gotten some good products except I felt that I got leftovers for December. In February, Ipsy is going to start Glam Bag X which is like Boxy Lux where instead of getting the regular Glam Bag you get more of a luxury based bag with seven to eight full-size items which I’m excited about. I almost thought about doing either Boxy Lux or Premium except I feel that the items aren’t my cup of tea and I feel happier with the regular base box. No Make No Life, on the other hand, I was mad that they falsely advertised the DHL thing during December because they used a different service from them and I didn’t get my box until this past Monday. Some four to five day shipping. I will keep them for a few more months too. So, next up is my Third Quarter Favorites so stay tuned for that!

Subscription Satelite: No Make No Life January 2021

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast nerd universe! I am back with the last beauty box for the month!

No Make No Life January 2021

I know it’s weird to see January in this box’s title but got to remember this does magazine logic for its months and that is No Make No Life. This is a beauty box from Japan that contains beauty products from Japan and Korea ranging from make up to skin care and even a lifestyle item. This is $35 plus $10 shipping. Let me rant a little about shipping. Normally this is supposed to be shipped with DHL but this month it was not that. It was with a different company and it caused my box to be a bit late. If they advertise 2 to 5 DHL Express Shipping, keep it at DHL Express!!! No one else! Please! I hope for my February box it won’t happen again. Now, let’s see what I got this month since I got eight items this month which by the way you tend to get or if you’re lucky, you can get nine items.

MediHeal Essential 40: Mask: First up is a product from MediHeal. I heard of this brand through my first box but there was no mask from these guys in that but it’s well known in the K-pop scene since a lot of celebrities do use these masks, especially when you fly the air does dehydrate your skin a lot. This mask has been voted #1 by It Cosmi and is created by the help of dermatologists and is able to work with the skin not against it. You could either have gotten Collagen Impact, Placenta Revital, Tea Tree Healing Solution, V Life, Vital Light Beamed that’s it. I will be using this and coming back for the Review Round Up!

Mise en Scene Extreme Damage Repair Hair Mask: Next up is a product from Mise en Scene. It’s been a while since I’ve bottom any hair repair masks in my boxes and this is interesting to say the least since it requires a cap and good thing it gives you directions in the booklet. This is a #1 hair care brand in Korea that uses uses natural oils, heat and steam in this mask to help repair damage. This uses Hahoba Oil, Coconut Oil, and Shea Butter as some of the ingredients.

BT21 Bia Hair Clip: Next up is a pair of hair clips from BTS’ character line, BT21 and it’s a collabe with Bit Hit Line Friends. You can get one of the characters that each member has created in a set of two clips. I am wearing them, they’re pretty big which I do prefer when it comes to holding my hair back a bit. Will have to keep on wearing these then!

Innisfree Mineral Setting II Powder: Next up is a setting powder from Korean brand Innisfree. This is a soft setting powder that can be worn on top of makeup to lock it in or anywhere to keep shine away. I can’t wait to use this as well. I think I got a powder during last month’s box but it’s kind of awesome to try other brands from different parts of the world with the same products we tend to use. I will see how this goes.

UR Glam-Lip0011: This is a lip tint that is a hybrid between an oil and a balm. With this item you can pop on some color with some shine with any of the colors they have chosen and they are nude pink, coral, clear purple and a few others. I wonder what I got.

L Fascy Moisture In Balm Hand Cream: Next is a hand cream which is a popular one in Korea and contains shea butter and aloe vera extract which helps with dry skin. You know how cold it gets here on the coast and glad to get one of these in my box, since the cold snaps did start coming early this month, heck we even had a cold Christmas after so long! I got mine in strawberry which is amazing! So far it feels good on the skin but will update in the Review Round Up!

UR Glam Eye Shadow Pallet: This next item is also from UR Glam and it’s an eye shadow pallet. This is an everyday wear shadow pallet with nine shades and it features mattes and glitter with beige, brown, and red. Which is interesting to hear red in a shadow pallet like this. Also, this is a product that sold out after being rated for bestmulti-pallet. I do find this a nice compact pallet since we tend to have bigger pallets here in the U. S. but this is good enough size for travel. I will definitely try this out!

Micro Fiber Hair Drying Glove: And final item is a lifestyle item which surprised me. I never thought I would see a hair drying glove. To be fair, in Japan they have a head band to keep shampoo out of your eyes while washing your hair, why don’t we have that here in the U. S.? I did hear you can get that at Daisou! Anyways, this is a glove to help with reducing time with a hair dryer and keep hair healthy. It is very soft, I have to wash my hair this week so I will try this out and see how it goes.

That is it for this box. A lot of items for the hair this month which makes sense since hair does get affected by cold weather and of course for the hands since the hand cream is a handy item. I will have to see about the glove which is interesting to see. I am also excited about the eye shadow pallet since I am glad my eyes are better but dust from unpacking has been causing them to water slightly, I will have to see how this pallet goes. Next up is the best shadow pallets from ten brands! Stay tuned!

Subscription Satelite: No Make No Life December 2020

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast universe! I am back with one last subscription.

No Make No Life December 2020

I know this was late but due to warehouse issues they had a bit of a delay in getting my box out to me. Now hoping my January box is not late, even though I heard people had issues with their boxes being late with this subscription. This subscription is $35 with $10 shipping and you get skin care and makeup from Japan and Korea. This month I get to try eye makeup even though I am still getting over my eye infections. Let’s see what they gave me this month!

Japanese Essence Lotion: First up is my very first essence since I never tried one out. This product is from Japan one. This helps with moisture and comes in five options, which not sure what I got. This contains hyaluronic acid, royal jelly, and cuten. This also helps with toning and prevents acne as well. I have to try this out and see how this goes.

Kunuhata Soymilk Cleanser: Next is a face cleanser from a brand called Kunuhata. This is a gentle foaming cleanser made with soy milk that helps with hydration. I have to try this out since I prefer gentle cleansers over harsh ones. I hope it doesn’t make my skin react weird but the sheet masks haven’t done that so far. Let’s see what happens.

Innisfree Face Mask: This is a sheet mask that has a cream containing eucalyptus cellulose. Over the past two years I’ve been using masks with honey, various fruit extracts and actual fruits, flowers, but not with eucalyptus yet. I have to try this out since there are three kinds I can get in Acai Berry, Ginseng, and Rice. I have to try this out and see how it goes.

Spins Multi-Stick: Now into the makeup parts. This is a shimmery and heart shaped stick from Spins that comes in pink gold. I will use this as a highlighter stick but can also use it on the eyes, lips, and decolletage. I can’t wait to use this!

Dolly Angel 33 Color Eye Shadow Pallet: Next up is my first eye shadow pallet from Asia! An actual shadow pallet from a brand I mean. This features thirty-three shadows and a double ended applicator. When I saw this, I thought it was smaller and had the usual twelve but when I saw this in the catalog that came with my box, I was surprised. The shades from soft peach to ruby. I will have to play with this when I get off my eye product break. It’s been a while since I used a peach to red tone shadow pallet.

Miloko Chocolate Brown Mascara: Next is a mascara and it’s in brown. I never use brown mascaras but willing to try this out. This mascara is a travel size which is right for the holiday traveling if anyone is doing it now or next year. This comes in four colors, cocoa brown, cranberry, cinnamon brown, milk tea, and chestnut, sorry, five!

Dolly Wink Long Lasting Eye Pencil: Next up is something that had me wanting my box sooner since it was advertised on Facebook and that is the Dolly Wink Everlasting Eye Pencil. This is a quick drying formula that stays put and doesn’t run. Plus, it is not too harsh when it’s on the eyes and doesn’t bother them either with Jojoba Oil. I have to try this since I did have issues with my eyes with a ink liner that was drying up due to not being used for months. I will see how this liner goes.

Etude Brow Pencil and Brush: Final item is from Etude. I have heard of these guys being in past boxes and glad to try a brow pencil from these guys. Except I am kind of scared because it’s a dark grey pencil with a triangular shape with a brush at the end. I hope this is like the universal taupe pencils that blend with how well it blends with the brows. I will have to see how this goes.

That is, it for this box. Very exciting with what I got this month! Definitely skin care products I will use and same with the eye products. The brow pencil is kind of scaring me due to the shade they gave me but will have to see how that works. I am excited for the shadow pallet, liner, and mascara. Can’t wait to see what the next box brings and hoping that doesn’t come late either. Next up is going back to the Technology Quadrant with talking about different Bluetooth earphones just in time for the holiday gifting season!

Subscription Satelite: No Make No Life October 2020

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast nerd universe. I am back with a new post!

No Make No Life October 2020

My No Make No Life box arrived today and happy it did. I have gone through a few rough patches before my first semester of school started and glad to get one of my subscriptions. This is a $45 box where you pay $35 plus $10 for shipping and you get eight to nine beauty products from Japan and Korea ranging from skin care to makeup to lifestyle. This month is their Halloween box since this does act like a magazine subscription where you get next month’s stuff this month. I am so excited so let’s see what I got this month!

Lovisia Heart Stick Blusher: First up is a blush by the brand Lovisia. I love getting brands I never heard of and this one is new to me. This blush leaves a heart mark when you apply it and it is creamy and becomes a powder when it’s set. You can leave it as a heart for Halloween if you want or maybe Valentine’s Day which this would be a perfect for that too. You could either get Milky Orange, Pure Pink, or Coral Pink. Found it and it has a really cute package which makes me wonder why does Japan have cute packaging? I don’t know what color it is until I try this out on my face. I am glad to try it out though!

Melty Oil Tint: Next is a lip tint which has an oily base to help keep lips from drying out and don’t even need a base. That sounds like up my alley since with conventions it’s hard to re-apply my lip items time to time and my lips do get dry during that time. I wished I had this during Omni Fandom Expo or if we went to it Phantasm which is done by the same people, but conventions won’t happen until next year. I know it takes me a long time to go through lip items so let’s see what happens with this! I did try finding this on Yes Style and not sure if I found it actually since the top said Momo Kiss which I am figuring it’s a natural peach tint. Will give it a whirl!

Petit Donut Lip & Cheek: Next is a lip and cheek product from Petit and I remembered getting their lip gloss last month and that ran out pretty quickly too. This item is in a donut packaging! It is so cute! In this you would find a sweet-scented lip and cheek cream in either Strawberry Cream, Milky Pink Cream, which is an actual thing in Asia, Pistachio Cream, Blue Mint Cream, Raspberry Cream, or Chocolate Cream. I think mine came in Raspberry Cream which is hard to tell with the smell but glad to get something like this.

Unicorn Point Pack: This sounds interesting since this is a skin care item from what I’m seeing. These are patches you can use on your face, elbows and knees and they are packed with lavender and Hyaluronic Acid to help with dry skin. I have used the Midflower face masks with the acid and enjoy them but when seeing these I may have to use these on my knees because they have been drying for forever

! I will give you my thoughts in October!

Momoko’s Halloween Hair Wax: Next up is a color hair wax. You can get a myriad of colors in this and you are able to use it on dry hair and keep it dry, also can make it pop even on dark hair with hair spray. Unfortunately, it is not waterproof which you have to wash this out really well. So, hoping it doesn’t rain if I use this on my hair around friends. Wait a second, I got this confused for the lip tint! Crap!

Halloween Lulette Art Crayon or Face Makeup Pallet: Next up is Halloween makeup from Japan and you could either have gotten a small makeup pallet or a face crayon set. I got the face crayon set! The face pallet contains 12 colors that includes reds and silvers to come up with a creepy look while the crayons come with some colors which I can’t see at the moment. If nothing takes place this year, I may use this for my face. I remember how people were worried about toxic face paints during Halloween so seeing if this is non-toxic.

Happy Halloween Bath Powder: Next is a bath powder and it is Halloween themed. This powder turns the water orange and also gives off a sweet smell. I do love bath products and glad to try out a Japanese one since all I really know is Lush bath items. This will be fun to use!

Unicorn or Mermaid Sheet Mask: Final item is a sheet mask which you could get either a mermaid one or a unicorn one. I got the unicorn mask! Yay! It feels really cool because it does describe that it was made with glacier water. I will definitely be trying this out tonight since now I added Wednesdays to my sheet mask routine since I do get some stress during the week and since I started college again to get my Master’s this time around I know that midweek mask will help me out! Plus trying to use some of my masks since I have so many and knowing packing them all up for the move will be even more hectic, yeah, we’re moving.

This box was really good this month! I do have to say is that I don’t get why people have been disappointed with this box since I’ve watched videos from people getting this and what they’ve received is not that bad from what they make it out to be. I mean so many people say the same thing about Ipsy, BoxyCharm, and so much more. I did find Allure Beauty Box boring, but others may find it amazing. Yes, this box is a little pricier than my other three, but I feel like I am getting a pretty good value for what I get for the $35 plus shipping. Glad to get another box and can’t wait to see what the next one will bring!

Subscription Satelite: Box Review Round Up July & August 2020

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast universe! I am back with my reviews!

Box Review Round Up July & August 2020

Another double month have passed and it’s time to review my boxes and see what I think!

No Make No Life: First is my first No Make No Life! This is a beauty subscription which has products from Japan and Korea and glad I got to check this out! Even though I saw videos on this box and not many people like it, but I do. I get around eight to nine items and glad to try what I got this month. I did finish the lip gloss and Chupa Chups hand cream. The sheet mask was even good! I haven’t used the shadow yet since I put it in my new Caboodle, I purchased with my birthday coupon. I do have an issue with the heart sponges though. I am always worried that I would rip them apart because of the middle always having a gap but it does blend my foundation pretty well since it’s a dewy formula. I will keep using them though and may travel with them. Will keep on going with this box since I loved it and will cancel if not worth it or bored with it.

BoxyCharm: Okay, July BoxyCharm felt like I didn’t enjoy some of the items. The Hank & Henry lipstick was very drying on my lips due to how rough it was in application. I know the covering on the lipstick was supposed to dissolve but I’m wondering if this caused my chemical burn on my lips or not due to how harsh it felt. I tossed it since it was not that great. I didn’t get to try my Clean Skin Club serum because I didn’t know what had happened to it. I swore I put it in a tote where I had some items waiting to be used but it wasn’t there. Even my fiancé had to help and no dice. We are moving when our lease is up so I might be able to find it while packing. I am still using my Billion Dollar Brows Kit, so I haven’t touched the Hourglass pencil. While the Festival 2.0, I have a nice story to tell and glad my best friend Rayne gave me a video idea. So, I got the original in one box last year and was able to get the original Festival pallet and Ulta had the shade descriptions for that on not for this one and same with the Pur website so I contacted them. I got a response after asking for the shade descriptions and got an answer I never thought I would get and that is take a picture of the back of the box. I told them that other brands have helped me out and didn’t get a 5reply for a little while. I did try posting on What’s Up In Makeups until one of the moderators sent me a message and said they’re willing to help, and she did. Then I got the response from Pur with the shade descriptions. Rayne said I should do a video on responses I’ve gotten responses in getting help on their products which would be a great idea to do! Just stay tuned for that!

August was better though because I was able to use products without having any reaction. The Butter London pallet was good but6 I feel like a slight tug on my eye using some of the shadows, but it did give me a great effect with the top row. I will definitely keep using the Teddy Boy pallet and I may get the Teddy Girl one since that has a mix of warm and cool tones. I did put away the Glam Glow moist6urizer and the Elizabeth Mott primer since I already have enough of both. I also appreciate the bronzer since it is so good so far. The only issue I have with this box and that is the Milk Makeup brow gel. Apparently, they sent me a lighter brown from my dark brown brows. I don’t get why they have a profile that allows you to customize your box with the items they put in they don’t match it. I remembered how the CoverFX pallet had wrong ones placed into boxes when they were supposed to be Light to Medium not Medium to Dark and gave charms to people and replaced the pallets, here that didn’t happen because I contacted BoxyCharm about it and they didn’t give me extra charms like before. I am having it sent by someone on Facebook who got my shade. I did suggest to BoxyCharm that they should put variant items in Choice rather than having it done for us because we tend to get the wrong items. It would help us get what we want and in the correct shade instead of the wrong one. Hoping this does get taken to heart once it is given to the team.

Ipsy Glam Bag: July was good except for the Ciate London Lip Oil. I think it caused my chemical burn. I felt that my lips felt dry after putting this on and didn’t know it was going to cause the effects I had. I tossed it and can’t use it. The other items were really good though. The Hempz lotion felt good on my legs after shaving like the claims said. I didn’t use it after my last shave but should next time. I have been using the Luxie brush interchangeably with my other eye brushes. The blush did have room for my blush brush but wishing the Balm gave it a compact feel. And of course, the shadow from Space Case is still a love!

August, on the other hand, was amazing! I finished the Bubble Tea lotion and it smells just like peach tea and I do love me some peach tea whenever I can get my paws on it! The other makeup products were amazing too. The lip balm from Hey Honey didn’t burn since it was also watermelon like the Ciate oil. I wished it was more of a stick not a tube but hey it did feel good!

Ipsy Glam Bag Plus: Finally, is Glam Bag Plus! I feel like with these two months it’s been really good even though they changed the format this month. July’s bag had products for every part of the face. I was able to use the Toula Moisturizer and I find it really thick when I put it on. It did smell like sunscreen due to the SPF in it. I am almost out of it since I’ve been using it. I find it funny that I already have been using the Midflower Hyaluronic masks since I have been purchasing them from Ipsy. I even bought more with the Ipsy Offers that appeared not too long ago, one set came with these and rose ones while the other had charcoal so will have to see how they go. The rose ones do feel good! The Il Makiage shadow is pretty good, and the Surfer Curl also was pretty good while the eyeliner, it is in my professional makeup kit.

August was where the changes came and it’s where we get to choose three items in the bag. It was interesting but wishing it was in Ultimate instead. I am looking forward to what will be in nex6t month’s round of choices. I chose for this month the Love Craft Beauty Highlighter pallet in Aurora and Borealis, Murad Renewing Eye Cream, and the Laura Gellar Kajal Eyeliner in bronze. While Ipsy chose the Huda Beauty Demi Matte Liquid Lipstick in Lady Boss and the Beauty For Real Shadow Sticks. This was a great balance for what I got. I did try the eyeliner and one of the shadow sticks and they are better with a primer, the shadow sticks I mean. The liner did go on very well too. I did find the highlighting duo easy to blend on my cheek bones. I haven’t used the eye cream due to having so many at the moment. And the Huda Beauty lipstick was pretty good. It did feel smooth on the lips and was able to dry down after my lip primer goes on top. I can’t wait for what September brings.

Verdict: I would have to give it to No Make No Life, and Glam Bag Plus! I know I only started with one month with No Make No Life but getting to try more Asian beauty brands. While GB Plus had more variety and it is going through a change. I do have to say at least the bags are bigger now since we used to get smaller bags that were smaller than the Glam Bag. Let’s see what I will get in September!

That is, it for this post guys! Next up is a new Mimi Jean Pamfiloff review! Stay tuned!
