Subscription Satellite: Ipsy Glam Bag X November 2021

Hello to all of you beautiful nerds and welcome back from traveling the vast nerd universe! Time for the last subscription of the month!

Ipsy Glam Bag X November 2021

So, the last bag is the Glam Bag X which is the last tier of Ipsy and it’s a quarterly version of Glam Bag Plus. This bag is $55 every third month and you get eight items and choose four of them! These are curated by special guests and this month we have Huda Katan from Huda Beauty. Let’s see what I got this month with what she chosen for me and what I chose for myself. But first, I did get an add-on.

Add-On: Nomad Cosmetics Venice-Simplon Eye Shadow Pallet

This month if you had GB Plus you would have gotten the newest pallet from Nomad Cosmetics which is the Venice-Simplon Pallet. Since I didn’t get GB Plus this month, I did get this as an add-on which I was very excited about due to how I love this brand. This has nine shades, and they include sparkly shades in it as well. I can’t wait to use this once I get the shades and their descriptions from their website. This retails for $29.

PMD Beauty Clean Smart Facial Device in Warmth

First up is product from PMD Beauty and it’s a facial tool. I remembered that I may have bought this as an add-on with my Glam Bag Plus a while back and surprised to get another one all thanks to Huda. It is a device that helps with pores and giving the face a nice massage. You can use the first two modes to apply your cleanser and the last two for moisturizer. Come of think of it, the cleanser I got from allure is not a tube so I may have to try this with that. Let’s see how it goes! This retails for a whopping $99.99! So glad I did not buy it because it’s pricey. Come to think of it, that one company that everyone got the cleansing brush from was around $100 and they did go out of business, don’t know why.

Goldfaden MD Needleless Line Smoothing Concentrate

Next up is an item from Goldfaden MD. This is my second item from this brand. This is a serum that helps lift the skin and keep fine lines away. I would use this to moisturize within my skin care routine and glad to have one once I’m done with the Good Molecules one, I’ve been enjoying. This serum does contain Hyaluronic Acid and seaweed extract. Oh jeez, I hope my skin doesn’t wig out with the seaweed extract when it doesn’t like actual seaweed on my skin, but I do love eating it. This retails for $160.

Sunday Riley Clean Rinse Clarifying Scalp Serum

Why does most skin care have the longest names? Anyways, so the next item is from Sunday Riley and it’s a scalp serum? Weird? Let’s see what this one is all about. It is basically a serum that helps refreshes the scalp from any product build up and pollution to help refresh hair with AHA and BHA. I do tend to use some products on my hair to keep my hair from frizzing up, also use dry shampoo and a pomade to keep my hair in shape during the week at work. I will have to use this and see how it goes. This retails for $48.

Huda Beauty Diamond Balm Lip Balm in Seductress

Next up is a product from Huda Beauty. I love this brand and glad to get another lip product. This lip balm is infused with mango butter and coconut oil which packs in moisture and gives a sheer shimmer touch to the lips. I found it in my box, and it smells like coffee. I will keep on using it since I do love their lip products. This retails for $25.

Rare Beauty Positive Live Illuminator in Transcend

I have heard good reviews about Selena Gomez’s brand, Rare Beauty. I was a fan of her show Wizards of Waverly Place and did love the movie Princess Protection Program where she and Demi Lovato took on an evil king or poser king in that one. This is a highlighter that is also a liquid that I am able to use the doe foot first and then blend it in with whatever tool I have. I am not sure what color it is, but I bet it looks nice. I will try it out and see what I think. This retails for $22.

Huda Beauty Haze Obsessions Pallet in Purple

Next up is another Huda item and it’s a shadow pallet from her in the Haze Obsessions Collection in Purple. I’ve gotten many other Obsessions pallets and they are pretty good. This is a pallet that has a combination of pinks and purples and be able to blend with each other. I have to try this out and see how it goes since it’s been a while since I got a new Obsessions pallet. This retails for $29.

Freck Beauty Rich Bitch Cactus Vitamin C Moisturizer

Next up is a moisturizer from Freck Beauty. It was hard for me to choose items from the second group but saw this one which came in time for my dry patch situation. Also, when I saw this, I had to have it. I never seen a moisturizer that contained anything cactus related even though I have enjoyed cactus water as a soda substitute. It’s really good, I highly recommend. Not only it has Vitamin C, but it also has A. D. and E as well and Hahoba. I will definitely try this out since winter does make anyone’s skin dryer, hell even dryer since it does get really cold at times here on the coast. This retails for $32.

Ipsy Royal Clutch

Final item is the Ipsy Royal Clutch. One thing I find missing from this Glam Bag is an actual Glam Bag which I was hoping when I signed up for this tier. They did it with the Glam Bag Lux but why not this one when Bag is in its name. They should give clutches for this tier. Ipsy, I hope you’re reading this! It’s a really good size bag which you can carry anything in this when traveling. Also, you can use it as a clutch on a night out if you want which has a strap in the middle. I’m glad to choose this in this box because group number three had crappy products. I don’t get why the first two groups have really good items and then the last not so good? They need to ramp things up with this one and GB Plus since Group 3 with that tends to suffer as well.

So, that completes this GBX. I do have to say that some of the items are pretty good, but they need to work on the final group for the choice products because I feel like they are the leftover. I mean I am getting an interesting moisturizer out of one of them and an awesome new addition to my collection of Huda Obsessions pallets. Also, I am getting to try Rare Beauty after hearing so much of it. What’s next? I am going to try and get the Press Room videos up this coming week or the next so I can wrap up the press coverage from RangerStop & Pop. Plus, I do have book reviews coming up since it’s been so long, and I have dug out my Kindle to start reading again. Stay tuned!
